Civil War in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Civil War has been in Africa for a very long time now. These wars have been affecting
many African countries, including the DRC. The DRC has had two different Civil Wars, the first one from November 1996, to May 1997. The second war started in August, 1998 to July. 2003. Although both of them have ended, these wars have affected the country immensely and they still haven't fully recovered, rendering them the poorest country in the world. A Civil War is a war between the citizens of the same country, meaning that all of the destruction is happening in the same country. |
Me and my partners have each been working against different inequalities that civil war causes, FAMINE, HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY and CHILD SOLDIERS. Civil War causes all of these and this website is informing you about the horrible things that happen when a country fights against itself.
